Designed to combine period grace with up-to-the-minute family space, this high-end build required old-school craftsmanship and a commitment to today’s best building practice.
Set over two-storeys, the construction of this five bedroom, multi-living Edwardian-style home required exceptional attention to detail in the creation of two state-of-the-art kitchens (one inside, one al fresco), luxe bathrooms, and expansive interior and poolside living spaces.
Working with fine materials (including Spotted Gum, stone and decorative cornices) and using traditional skills to create flawless bay-windows, well-matched weatherboards and a high-gabled roofline, we walked the line between old and new. The result is a home that has every necessity for modern family life (including pool, garage and great gardens) and all the period beauty necessary to fit into this blue-chip streetscape.
